Mark is an Electronic Engineer currently working for a large defence contractor. In his spare time, he is an avid amateur radio operator with the callsign VK5QI, and regularly drives around the country hunting STM32 development boards that fall from the sky (also known at radiosondes). Mark has presented at Linux.conf.au in 2012 talking about High-Altitude Ballooning, and has presented at OpenRadio Miniconfs over subsequent years.
